Electric Interface

The host computer connects to the rangefinder via a 10-pin connector for interconnection testing. The pin definitions for the power supply and communication ports on the rangefinder side are listed in the following table, and the position of Pin 1 on the connector is shown in the following figure.

Table: Power Supply and Communication Port Pin Definitions (Rangefinder Side)

Pin No. Label Electrical Definition Remarks
P-1 VIN+ Input Power Positive Power Supply
P-2 COM Input Power Negative Power Supply
P-3 POWER_CTL Low-power Control Port Floating or high level (3V–9V) active
P-4 RS422_TXD+ Signal Output Port From Rangefinder to Host
P-5 RS422_TXD- Signal Output Port (Differential) From Rangefinder to Host
P-6 RS422_RXD- Signal Input Port From Host to Rangefinder
P-7 RS422_RXD+ Signal Input Port (Differential) From Host to Rangefinder
P-8 GND Communication Ground
P-9 TTL_RXD Signal Input Port 3.3V TTL
P-10 TTL_TXD Signal Output Port 3.3V TTL

Notes:

  • Differential Signals: Pins 4-5 (RS422_TXD±) and 6-7 (RS422_RXD±) form differential pairs for RS422 communication.
  • TTL Interface: Pins 9-10 support 3.3V TTL-level serial communication.
  • Power Control: Pin 3 (POWER_CTL) enables low-power mode when left floating or driven high (3V–9V).

Certifications

  • CE, RoHS, and ISO 9001 compliant.
